WEATHER UPDATE: Snow Expected to Fall From Saturday into Tuesday
More than a foot of snow could fall over a four-day period.

More than a foot of snow is expected to fall in portions of Rhode Island during a series of small snowstorms that will fall from Saturday into Tuesday.
Weather forecasters said snowfall will be intermittent with the heaviest snow on Monday.

Here is Tiverton and Little Compton’s weather predictions for the next four days from weather.com:
- Saturday night: 1 to 3 inches of snow
- Sunday day: about 1 inch of snow
- Sunday night: 1 to 3 inches of snow
- Monday day: 1 to 3 inches of rain
- Monday night: about 1 inch of snow
The snowfall predictions for each day don’t seem like much, but when taken together we may see a foot of snow between Saturday and Tuesday.

This latest snow forecast comes within two weeks since the Blizzard of 2015, the Groundhog Day storm and a handful of smaller storms have dumped more than four feet of snow on parts of Rhode Island.
