When is the Last Day of School in Little Compton?

With all the snow and subsequent snow days we’ve had this winter, many have been asking, when is the last day of school in Little Compton?

There have been four snow days so far, which caused the school district to change the date of the last day of school, which was originally Friday, June 19.

The Superintendent’s office at Little Compton Public Schools says right now, if there aren’t any additional snow days, the last day of school would be Thursday, June 25.

However, the school district sent a proposal to Rhode Island’s Department of Education to allow the school to extend the remaining school days to make up for the snow days.

If this approval happens, the last day of school will remain Friday, June 19, the Superintendent’s office said.

A representative from the Superintendent’s office said Superintendent Kathryn Crowley should receive word from the state “any day now.”
