Wanted South Carolina Woman Arrested After Warwick Crash: Cops

WARWICK, RI — A wanted South Carolina woman was arrested after a crash in Warwick, police said.

Sopheap Vong, 43, was arrested about 6 a.m. Thursday on a warrant charging her with failing to appear in court for a suspended, revoked or cancelled license case orginating in Cranston, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Vong was arrested when troopers responded to a crash on Interstate 95, the release said.

Vong was processed at the Wickford Barracks and taken to Third District Court, according to the release.
