• 2026 July 4 Fireworks Guide For Warwick (patch.com) — Warwick residents can look forward to special Independence Day fireworks and celebrations during the 250th anniversary weekend, July 3–5, 2026. The guide highlights Warwick’s July 3 fireworks and connects them to nationwide America 250 events, including televised ball drops, major displays in Washington and New York, and other commemorations.    

• Child Who Drowned At Warwick Beach Identified (patch.com) — Warwick residents are learning more about the tragic drowning at Conimicut Point Beach, where 7-year-old Aston Jemson died while visiting the shoreline with his mother and younger sister. Police say his mother pulled him from the water and bystanders helped perform CPR before emergency crews arrived. The investigation into the circumstances of his death remains ongoing.    

• Rhode Island voters will weigh in on five bond issues in Nov. 2026 included in the state's budget (ballotpedia.org) — Warwick voters will help decide five statewide bond questions in November 2026, including funding for a new workforce innovation center at CCRI’s Warwick campus. The $600 million package also backs housing, higher education, economic infrastructure, environmental projects, and historic preservation. Each bond will appear as a separate question on the ballot for individual approval or rejection.
