1. 3 Arrested On Trespassing Charges Following Warwick Camper Fire: Cops (patch.com) β Warwick police say a camper and shed caught fire on Rita Street Wednesday afternoon, but everyone got out safely and no injuries were reported. Three people who had previously been barred from the property due to code and safety violations, including lack of electricity, were arrested on willful trespass charges. Animal Control also responded and ensured a dog at the scene was placed with a responsible caretaker.

2. Homeless in RI: Sandwich Party Sunday. URI Student Builds Community (rinewstoday.com) β A Warwick college student is growing his Sandwich Party Sunday project, which gathers volunteers to make and share meals with people experiencing homelessness in nearby Providence. He's working with URI mentors, local partners, and donors to turn the effort into a year-round program that offers food, community, and practical skills, and is seeking more volunteers and support.
