Coventry Man Charged With Failing To Stop For Accident Surrenders To Law: Cops

WARWICK, RI — A Coventry man wanted on a charge of failing to stop for an accident resulting in damage to a vehicle surrendered to the law, police said.

Eric Santos, 32, turned himself in at Wickford Barracks shortly before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

"The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 95" in Warwick, the release said.

Santos was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a court date, according to police.
