Feline enthusiasts, families, and pet lovers are invited to a weekend of whiskers and wonder as the New England Meow Outfit (NEMO) hosts its annual Cat Show The two-day event will take place at the Ramada Inn, located at 213 Taunton Ave., Seekonk, MA, running from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM daily. The show features a spectacular variety of cats competing for top honors, alongside unique public and exhibitor events designed to entertain visitors of all ages. Highlights of the weekend include: • Agility Ring: Watch in amazement as highly athletic, exhibitor-entered felines navigate obstacle courses with speed and precision. • Cat-and-Owner Costume Contest: A fan-favorite spectacle featuring creative, matching ensembles worn by exhibitors and their competitive cats. • Kids Stuffed Animal Contest: A special, interactive event held both Saturday and Sunday, allowing younger feline fans to bring their own favorite plush toys to join in on the judging fun. Our annual show is a fantastic opportunity for New England pet lovers to experience the incredible world of pedigreed and household pet cats. Whether you are a lifelong cat owner or just looking for a unique, family-friendly weekend activity, there is something truly special for everyone at NEMO." Important Attendance Information To ensure the safety and well-being of all competing animals, only exhibitor-entered cats are permitted inside the show hall. Guests are kindly asked to leave their personal pets comfortable at home. 40th ANNUAL “3-Day” CRANSTON GREEK FESTIVAL SEPTEMBER 11th, 12th and 13th
Location: Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation on the parish grounds
175 Oaklawn Avenue, Route 5, Cranston, RI. 
The Cranston Greek Festival, marks the “Official End of Summer in Rhode Island™”.
The Festival is held under the “Big Tents”, rain or shine.
Admission is FREE.
2026 GREEK FESTIVAL TIMES:
 Friday, September 11 5 PM – 10 PM
 Saturday, September 12 12 Noon – 10 PM
 Sunday, September 13 12 Noon – 8 PM
 
Greek Food: 
Guests sample a wide variety of Greek food including roast lamb, Greek-style chicken, souvlaki (skewered pork or chicken), pastitsio (delectable “Greek Lasagna”), spanakopita (“spinach pie”) tiropita (“cheese pie”). 
 
Many of our guests tell us we serve Rhode Island’s Best GYROS. Come and judge for yourself! 
 
Our pastry booth offers hand-made Greek pastries prepared by teams of our own parishioners, including our famous Baklava, Galaktoboureko and Rice Pudding. 
 
The pastry selection also includes karidopita (Greek Walnut Cake), kourabiedes (Wedding Cookies), koulourakia (Greek Butter Cookies), and melomakarona (Honey Cookies). 
 
And don’t forget to try our Loukoumades!!! 
Loukoumádes (λουκουμάδες) is a staple of Greek eating, especially in the south of Greece, and is a popular street food served with a combination of honey, cinnamon, and walnuts.

Entertainment &amp; Culture:
Greek Dancing Performances by Odyssey Dance Troupe 
Friday Night – 7 PM 
Saturday - 4 PM and 7 PM 
Sunday Afternoon – 3 PM &amp; 6 PM
These performances are wildly popular, and feature dances from mainland Greece and the Greek Islands. 
Live Greek musicwill be performed throughout the event. 
Spontaneous, impromptu Greek Dancing breaks out constantly during the entire 3-Day, Cranston Greek Festival. 
Everyone is invited to join in these dances.

Free parking is available on the neighborhood streets.
Additional parking is available at Cranston West High School. 
Free Parking shuttle buses run continuously, from Cranston West High School VIA CURTIS STREET.Some handicapped parking is available on the church grounds. 
The parking lot shuttle buses run all three days of the Festival, until 30 minutes AFTER CLOSING, each day.
