Every winter, the gallery becomes a shop. For a few weeks each December, the Warwick Center for the Arts fills with handmade work by Rhode Island artists and makers, the kind of gifts you can't find anywhere else, made by people who live down the road.
The Annual Winter Market is a festive, boutique-style holiday sale featuring original work by local artists across eight categories: ceramics and clay, fiber and wearables, home and hearth, jewelry, paper goods, wall art, wood, glass and metal, and our curiosities corner for the weird and wonderful.
Everything in the Market is handmade and of the artist's own original design. You'll find functional and decorative pottery, handmade jewelry, knitted scarves and hats, candles and ornaments, cards and small prints, framed originals and photography, turned wood bowls, stained and fused glass, and pieces that defy easy description.
Admission is free, and every purchase goes directly toward supporting a working Rhode Island artist.
