Providence Man Charged With Possessing Pistol: Police

WARWICK, RI — A Providence man was arrested during a Warwick traffic stop and charged with possessing a pistol, police said.

Oscar Peralta Reyes, 21, was stopped about 8:30 p.m. Friday on Irving Road, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Peralta Reyes was charged with license or permit required for carrying a pistol and large capacity feeding device prohibited, the release said.

Peralta Reyes was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned and released with a notice to appear in court, according to police.
