Luck Of The Draw Doubles Tennis Tournament For Charity

A spectacular beach race featuring stunning views! The half marathon course runs into the pristine neighborhoods of Watch Hill first before entering Weekapaug and running along the coastline and through the picturesque beach community. The Surftown Half Marathon, presented by Westerly Hospital, is a destination race not to miss, with additional distance options available.
The 2-person relay gives runners a chance to experience part of the awesome Surftown Half course split with a buddy for 5.1 mile and 8 mile legs. Relay participants exchange within walking distance of the pre/post-race area.
The 5K race offers a 3.1 mile beachy run to remember! The flat and fast course travels out-and-back along Winnapaug Pond and the Misquamicut beach community and starts shortly after the 13.1 mile race kicks off.
All participants earn a funky beach-themed finisher medal, a high quality short sleeve technical shirt and a post-race party by the beach with Flanders Fish Market chowder and a complimentary ice-cold beer from Grey Sail Brewing (21+ w/ID only).
TRI-STATE TRIPLE: A great excuse to explore southern New England and keep moving through the fall! Pick and choose the distance of choice from three signature events that provide flexibility to meet new goals. Each week there will be a theme which will result in following instructor-led guided art and then adding your own personal artist spice to it using a variety of art media.Some examples from the past have been a guided drawing of an endangered animal with students' individual ideas of the landscape that animal might live in. The landscape ideas are formed using the Socratic Method of asking them questions that do not necessarily have to be answered out loud- but can be. Just letting those questions bounce around your head will help ideas form and get curated. In addition to learning art techniques and expression, students gain knowledge about the theme through fun facts, and games.

Thinking about law school? Join Roger Williams University School of Law for the annual Providence Law School Fair, where you'll have the opportunity to explore legal education and connect with representatives from more than 40 ABA-approved law schools from across the United States.
The event begins with a Law School Admissions 101 Panel from 12:00–1:00 p.m., where admissions professionals will provide an overview of the law school admissions process and answer general questions. Following the panel, attendees are invited to meet one-on-one with representatives from participating law schools during the Law School Fair from 1:00–3:00 p.m.

Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. Outdoor tented events are our specialty, with numerous locations on-site that are picturesque for your celebration. Outdoor tented celebrations can accommodate up to 250 guests.
