Water Mains Flushing Notice In Town Of Westerly

As part of our maintenance program, the Town of Westerly Water Division will start flushing water mains daily from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Flushing
operations may cause temporary lower water pressure and/or discolored water. Should you experience discolored water, run your cold water tap until the water runs clear. It is recommended that residents in the areas noted below refrain from laundering clothes if water is discolored. The Westerly Water Department thanks you for your understanding and cooperation as this program is program is required to provide the cleanest water possible.

The areas to be flushed are White Rock, Ashaway Road, Canal Street, and Potter Hill Road sections of the distribution system.
