WEST GREENWICH, RI — A Pawtucket woman charged with eluding the law ultimately failed to elude the law when she was pulled over and arrested, police said.
Juana Almanzar Pujols, 55, was arrested during a traffic stop on Nooseneck Hill Road in West Greenwich shortly before 3:15 p.m. Monday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Almanzar Pujols was charged with reckless driving — eluding law enforcement, reckless driving and other offenses against public safety, and resisting legal or illegal arrest, the release said.
Almanzar Pujols was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a court date, according to police.
