Providence Woman Wanted On Vehicle Theft Charge Apprehended: Cops

WEST GREENWICH, RI — A Providence woman wanted on a vehicle theft charge was apprehended during a traffic stop in West Greenwich, police said.

Miriam Ndemba, 26, was pulled over on Interstate 95 shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday and arrested on a warrant charging her with vehicle theft, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Ndemba was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and turned over to the Providence Police Department, according to the release.
