WEST WARWICK, RI — Shocking video shows a figure clad in Ku Klux Klan attire walking around West Warwick.
"Town officials confirmed that police are investigating the incident but provided no additional details," the New York Post reported, noting the recording was captured about 2 a.m. Monday.

“It was really upsetting to think somebody would walk around like that period … and then it felt personal when it was in my store or in front of my store,” Leslie Letourneau, owner of Candy’s Curiosities & Vintage, said in the Post story.
"The video has since spread across social media, prompting reaction from people in the community," according to WJAR.

"“It’s weird because I know there’s racism around here, but not like that," witness Ryan Fitzgerald told WJAR. "That’s a whole different level."
A video of the man was also posted to West Warwick's facebook page.

"Someone in West Warwick sent me this video he recorded at 2am while he was out grabbing a snack," the poster said. "Wtf."
“I asked that they step up patrols as it’s a bit unnerving,” Letourneau said. “But they are literally around the corner, so (the person wasn’t) hiding from the police, either.”

Letourneau told WBSM she informed police about the person in the video.“I asked that they step up patrols as it’s a bit unnerving,”Letourneau told the station. “But they are literally around the corner, so (the person wasn’t) hiding from the police, either.”
