β’ RIDOT says Washington Bridge construction ahead of schedule; drivers remain skeptical (turnto10.com) β West Warwick drivers like Silas Mechado are still battling long, stressful commutes as Washington Bridge construction continues, even as RIDOT insists work is ahead of schedule. Crews are now installing deep steel casings that will support the new span, with visible above-water work expected in coming months and full completion currently projected for November 2028.
