• West Warwick OKs $340K Fire Station Floor Change Order (upriseri.com) — West Warwick residents should know the Town Council approved a $340,000 change order to fully replace a key fire station apparatus bay floor, redirecting some capital funds to keep the station operational. Councilors also advanced a request for stronger municipal court powers over abandoned properties, debated how far the town should go in funding rat control, adjusted parking rules, and approved several local festival licenses and school construction updates.
