North Providence Man Wanted On Fraud Charge Nabbed: Cops

WEST WARWICK, RI — A North Providence man wanted on a fraud charge was apprehended during a traffic stop, police said.

Andre Scott, 35, was pulled over on Interstate 95 in West Warwick shortly before 9 a.m. Setp. 14 and arrested on a warrant charging him with fraud, illegal use of credit cards or debit cards, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Scott was wanted by the Johnston Police Department, the release said.

Scott was processed at the Wickford Barracks and taken to the Johnston Police Department, according to the release.
