This summer, we saw the release of some very big studio moves beginning in May with the release of the long awaited Iron Man 3. The Iron Man franchise opened up the way for the Superhero movie universe back in 2008, and Marvel has never looked back.
Iron Man 3 was a stand alone story not connecting it with last years blockbuster "The Avengers" Many thought the movie suffered and was the last fling for Robert Downy jr as billionaire industrialist Tony Stark. But its not so, since Downy has sign a very lucrative deal with Disney to make four more appearances as Start/Iron man. That is a good thing.

There was OZ, The great and powerful which was a great new retelling of the arrival of the wizard tot he land of OZ before Dorothy got there.
Man of Steel was in my Opinion one of the best Movies of the year. I great retelling of Superman without going into the same old stuff that the movies before it fell into. We all knew it would spawn a sequel and sure enough it has. Scheduled for 2015 is the second Man of Steel Movie. But two weeks ago it was announced that it will be called Batman vs Superman! This will open up DC's comic book universe at last. And just yesterday it was also announced that Orlando Bloom,is the front runner for the role of Batman. A much better selection than having Christian Bale reprising the role. This will open the way for a Justice League movie as well as other characters in their bullpen.
And last but not least as far as I'm concerned was The giant monster/giant robot extravaganza "Pacific Rim. What more can i say about this except its Giant monsters vs giant robots.
Ok for my first outing, I wanted to just set the feel of this Blog. There will be alot more to come. So I'm just getting my feet wet here.
