The restaurant has reportedly not had power all week, and but restocked on Saturday and is ready to serve. Stop in for a of affordable breakfast and lunch options between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. today. Β

Labor Day Celebration at the Museum of Work and Culture

Visit the on Monday for the 13th annual Labor Day Open House celebration from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free for this event, which will include a play on the Great Strike of 1934, which caused a riot on the streets of Woonsocket, written by Museum Director Raymond Bacon.Β  Performances will take place in the Museum's ITU Union Hall at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The Eugene A. Peloquin Catholic School Archive now holds material about Catholic schools from all over the world. On Monday, volunteers will be on hand to collect donated yearbooks, old report cards, class photos and other materials.

A raffle for dinner for six at the Pillsbury House (the North End bed and breakfast run by WNRI's Roger Bouchard,) valued at $350 will take place at 6 p.m.

Shake it up every Wednesday at St. Ann

Starting September 14, will host Zumba classes every Wednesday from 4 to 5 p.m., and 6 to 7 p.m. Walk-in classes are affordable, with just a $5 drop-in fee and no contracts are required. All ages and fitness levels are welcomed to "shake it up" in this Latin dance inspired fitness class. Registration starts 30 minutes before each class.

Wurlitzer Turns 85

The will host the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ Concert 85th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, September 25 at 2 p.m. Enjoy the majestic sounds of the Mighty Wurlitzer with Jack Cook, accompanied by a cast of vocalists and dancers. The celebration will include performances by Auray and Dominique Doiron, Charlie Desaulniers, Alexandra Dutremble, Jeff Gamache, Michael Harrison and ensemble, Emily Luther with Valley Breeze publisher Tom Ward as MC.

Cook will be performing β€œSongs through the Decades” which will include melodies from the β€œRoaring 20s” on the Stadium’s . Special attractions will include Dance Theatre of Rhode Island and "Two of Hearts and Friends,” a Versatile Cabaret Act.
