The Thursday Patch Passport shows you a Little Bit of Paradise. This is a local place where you can feel like you are a million miles away from the daily stress of life, without having to go far from home. Come along and relax...

Owner Deborah J. Lefort knows that her business, Sacred Hands Massage and Wellness Center, isn't just the best place in Woonsocket for affordable spa services, its the only game in town for a chemical-free personalized relaxation experience.

Lefort opened the center in 2006, bringing with her clientele from a previous shop in Massachusetts. Located in the Heritage Place plaza on Front Street, the unique city business has since grown to a staff of three therapists, one esthetician and one pedicurist/nail technician. Sacred Hands offers an assortment of massage services, steam treatments, body remedies, manicures/pedicures and facials including full body waxing. All of the therapists at Sacred Hand are licensed and certified and use only natural treatments and remedies.

The spa has two bathrooms including a full shower, and separate private rooms for each of their various services. In addition to a warm and comfortable waiting area, Sacred Hands has a small gift shop (made up exclusively of local goods created by Lefort's customers,) and a plush blue "quiet room" for simply relaxing.
