Alive's 3rd Annual Silent Auction

Alive's 3rd Annual Silent Auction

On September 16th there will be a silent auction and fundraiser for The Alive Peer Support Program, a community-based program for people living with mental illness. This fundraiser will take place from 6pm-9pm at The Comedy Connection, 39 Warren Ave, East Providence. The headliner for this event will be Boston Comedy Festival winner Al Park, with his unique blend of personal observation and cultural satire. Enjoy light refreshments, door prizes, entertainment and, of course, the silent auction. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door or reserved in advance by calling Kristin O’Malley at 401-762-7522.

Auction items include; a football autographed by Tom Brady (courtesy of the NE Patriots); four Park Hopper tickets to Walt Disney World theme parks; a 2 night stay at Bayside Resort on Cape Cod; tickets to Blue Man Group; and much, much more. Auction items can be viewed on The Alive Peer Support Program’s Facebook page. This event is sponsored, in part, by Chris and Elaine Stephens, Inferno Audio and Warren Tire.

The Alive Peer Support Program provides work opportunities for people living with disabilities, as well as a creative schedule of daily events for its members across the state. This program provides free transportation to events, helping to overcome a barrier for many people on a fixed income.
