Wanted Woonsocket Man Nabbed: Cops

A wanted Woonsocket man was apprehended, police said.

Scott Douglass, 38, was arrested Wednesday by the Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Douglass was a fugitive from justice in Rhode Island, according to the release.

"Mr. Douglass was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he waived extradition proceedings and was remanded into the custody of the Sheriff's Department pending his return to Massachusetts," the release said.
