'Autumnfest' Grand Marshal Reception Set for Tuesday, Sept. 26

WOONSOCKET, RI - From Autumnfest: Woonsocket Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt, the 2017 Autumnfest Steering Committee and the Woonsocket Rotary Club invites the community to the Autumnfest Grand Marshal Reception honoring Paul Shatraw.

Woonsocket Fire Chief Paul Shatraw, a 32-year veteran of the Woonsocket Fire Department, has been a volunteer at Autumnfest for more than 30 years. He has been on the Autumnfest Steering committee initially handling youth athletics. In later years, he volunteered his time during Autumnfest weekend as an electrician for the event.

This year’s Grand Marshal Reception will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at St. Ann Arts and Cultural Center, 84 Cumberland Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island. The hours of the reception will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available.

Donations for the Autumnfest Grand Marshal Reception are $15.00 per person, $25.00 per couple. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door or by calling Grand Marshal Event Coordinator Linda Plays at 401-263- 8317 or Jeff Gamache at 401-769- 6925 (WNRI Radio).
