Quick Change Artist Bank Robbery Suspect in Woonsocket

WOONSOCKET, RI – The suspect robbed the Bank of America, at 25 Cummings Way, and attempted to hold up a Citizens Bank, police allege. He changed his hat and his sweatshirt between jobs.

According to police, the Citizens Bank on Cumberland Street called officers at 12:44 p.m. (Friday, Dec. 2) to report an attempted bank robbery.

Then at 12:55 p.m., the Bank of America on John Cummings Way was robbed, police said. The amount taken is not yet known.

"Surveillance images show that the same individual is the suspect in both cases," police said. "The Woonsocket Police is looking for the public’s help in identifying" him. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Woonsocket Police at 401-766- 1212.
