Bernon Elks Trump Chariho 13-11

As lightning loomed in the skies around Tomlinson field, the weather held off long enough to complete the seven innings needed. 

The Bernon Elks defeated a tough Chariho team 13-11 Tuesday night to advance to take on the defending State Champs Johnston in the finals in Junior Division Baseball.

The Elks banged out 13 hits lead by Manny Ceballos with four which included a two-run home run and double, Sam Hunt (double and two singles), Kyle Beaulieau two doubles and Matt Letourneau two singles and two RBI's.

Jonah Houle, Beaulieu and Evan Masse shared the mound duties for the Elks. 

The game against Division 1 team Johnston will be held Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. at Tomlinson Field in Pawtucket, RI.  Come out and support our Woonsocket Players!
