Brittany Jade Wins Miss Fashion Boston

As a child Brittany wanted to be like Marilyn Monroe “I
would dress up and pose for my mom. My mom would laugh and smile and it was
then I knew I wanted to model simply because it made people smile and that's my
goal in life is to bring smiles to everyone” said Brittany. She was brought up
well with good morals and her father always told her to "do your best and
keep your promises" a meaningful sentence which is the key to Brittany’s
success.  Brittany Jade is a recent graduate
of the CT Center for Message Therapy in her spare time she enjoys dancing with
friends.

One of her biggest goals in her
life is to start an awareness group for bullying and the effects it has on
young people. “I was bullied throughout my 12 years of school. I want to be a
face for young girls and boys who lack self-confidence. I want to prove that no
matter your background, size, race, height etc. You can do anything you put
your heart and soul into” said Brittany.

Recently a good friend and fantastic photographer recommended
Brittany take part in a fundraiser for Boston’s One Fund https://secure.onefundboston.org/ The
One Fund Boston will is used to assist the families of the victims who were
killed or seriously affected as a result of the tragic events during the Boston
Marathon on April 15, 2013 and related events on April 18th and April 19th. When
she was crowned Miss Fashion Boston she was in immediate shock. “Once crowned
Miss Fashion Boston I immediately gave thanks to everyone at the event simply
for being there to be a part of such a great cause.  I then proceeded to thank my parents who were
sitting in the front row. The have been the ones to help me financially achieve
such a great moment in my career” Brittany added “My heart goes out to the
families of the victims as well as those who helped at the scene. All we can do
is come together as a country and show our strength in sad and disheartening
times such as the Boston Tragedy.”
