"I'm calling to ask the Senator to vote NO on the 'Motion to Proceed' on bill S. 744. This bill provides Amnesty followed by the same hollow promises of later enforcement that we have seen in amnesty bills since 1986. No law is ever strengthened by giving amnesty to the lawbreakers.
Millions of Americans are out of work and looking for jobs now being held by illegal immigrants. These Americans want a better present and future for themselves and their families. They can never achieve these goals while competing will a similar illegal workforce willing to work for lower wages, fewer benefits, and in more dangerous workplaces."
