Join us at beautiful River Island Art Park in downtown Woonsocket for week 1 of the Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series featuring a special ribbon cutting ceremony of the new stage in River Island Art Park.

June 13 features EhShawnee with support from Adison Ellis & VIDA Church and is MC’ed by both Marlon Carey.

The Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series is FREE and open to the public. Come ready to eat, dance, and have a great time! Bring a friend and something to sit on.

ABOUT EHSHAWNEE

Shawnee Taveras is a Dominican-American singer-songwriter and media personality living in Providence, Rhode Island. Taveras was born in Santo Domingo in 1993, moving to Rhode Island when she was young. She started her music career in Providence in 2007, by participating in El Festival de La Voz. Shortly after, she performed at festivals and concerts across the region. She has also performed throughout the Dominican Republic. Her musical influences include Milly Quezada, Shakira and Juan Luis Guerra. Taveras is a member of the Telemundo Providence cast and has released several singles.

Concert Location & Parking Info:

RIVER ISLAND ART PARK

River Island Art Park is located at 85 Bernon Street, Woonsocket RI. The park offers plenty of open grass for seating and is right along the beautiful Blackstone River.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to the open lawn concert setting. All ages are welcome, and admission is FREE.

Free parking is available at municipal lots throughout the city.
