Community Care Alliance Hosts Forum to Address Barriers to Housing

A free forum, “Housing Myth Busters—A Place You Can Afford is Right Around the Corner,” will address the barriers that get in the way of housing for people of all ages and all walks of life. Open to the public on May 19th from 6-7:30pm at the American-French Genealogical Society, 78 Earl Street, Woonsocket, panelists are Joe Garlick, Executive Director of NeighborWorks; Barbara Fields, Executive Director of RI Housing; Chris Stephens, Former President/CEO of NRI Community Services and Horizon Healthcare Partners; and Jim Ryczek, Executive Director of the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless. The discussion is part of Community Care Alliance’s 125th anniversary celebration, the first in a series of forums and panel discussions to be held throughout the year.
