Connecting for Children and Families recruiting for job training
Northern Rhode Island Career Academy focusing on call center and banking positions
Woonsocket, RI (September 23, 2016) - Connecting for Children and Families (CCF) is currently recruiting applicants for the Northern Rhode Island Career Academy, a workforce training program funded by a Real Jobs Rhode Island grant. Classes are anticipated to begin after Columbus Day.
CCF is seeking Rhode Island residents who are interested in free skills training in the customer service industry, specifically positions that focus on bank/cash handling, call center, and bookkeeping/accounting. Current employer partners include Amica Mutual Insurance Company, Bank of America, Citizens Bank, CVS Health, Innovex, Navigant Credit Union, and Pawtucket Credit Union.

Connecting for Children and Families is a community-based, non-profit organization located in Woonsocket, one of Rhode Island’s core urban cities. Our mission- to transform the lives of Woonsocket children through high quality educational opportunities and family support- is accomplished through strong community partnerships and advocacy. Our Center for Financial Success (CFS) provides an array of services including financial literacy, free tax preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, and workforce training programs for adults interested in careers in the food services, healthcare, and financial services industries.
