Couple Charged after Copulating Outside Dollar Store in Broad Daylight

A man and woman who were caught on video while having sex in broad daylight outside of a Woonsocket Family Dollar recently have been charged with indecent exposure.

Woonsocket police said Danny Folco, 33, and Jennifer Bonsante, 35, were arrested on Thursday following the posting of a video on several social media sites that showed the pair apparently having sex while leaning against a wall at a Clinton Street shopping plaza.

The incident occurred on May 4 at around 6:30 p.m.. According to a police report, Folco told officers that he was “just fooling around” and both denied having sex in public, though Folco’s zipper was down.

They were not arrested that day, but the video soon made the rounds on the Internet and police noticed the pair were wearing the same clothes the couple were wearing when questioned. Police said ”a reasonable person can see the individuals are having sexual intercourse and the female is exposed to the public in a very busy area.”

In the video, the person holding the camera yells “Yous can get a room, you know that, right?”

Both were released on personal recognizance after appearing in Providence District Court on Friday morning.
