Here are the top stories in Woonsocket today:

  1. The R.I. Department of Health reported 671 new COVID-19 cases since data was released on Friday. Hospitalizations increased to 107 over the weekend, with 15 patients in intensive care and nine on ventilators. One more Rhode Islander died after contracting COVID. We're not out of the woods yet.   2. Dean College in Franklin gets its largest gift in the college's history. Look out for some major plans! (The Sun Chronicle)
  3. Woonsocket lost against Burrillville in a Division I football playoff game. Does that mean its season's over? (The Providence Journal)

I love hardware stores and can be seen checking out all the cool stuff. I'm also a Realtor and all around town! It's heading into the Christmas season when I love to bake and make baskets of goodies for our service workers and neighbors . Neighbors, please don't think we're crazy but my husband cooks his delicious deep fried turkey and lowers it into the pot with his hockey stick!
