CUMBERLAND RESIDENT HONORED AS A SANTANDER SOCCER SCHOLAR

(September 29, 2015, Boston) – As part of its season-long Santander Soccer ScholarsSM sweepstakes that recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of New England youth, Santander Bank, N.A. and The New England Revolution honored Caitlyn Longest of Cumberland, RI at Gillette Stadium as the New England Revolution took on the Philadelphia Union.

The Santander Soccer Scholars program recognizes the academic achievements and hard work of local students. Parents are invited to submit up to 100 words highlighting their child’s finest academic accomplishments from the 2014-2015 school year for the chance to win an opportunity for their child to participate in a VIP Match Day experience.

As one of the Santander Soccer Scholars for the season, Karen Longest won four tickets to Saturday’s match against the Philadelphia Union to honor her star student, Caitlyn. She had the opportunity to meet and snap a photo with star Revs forward and Santander Soccer Scholars spokesperson Charlie Davies.

Santander Soccer Scholars* winners are selected at random throughout the 2015 MLS season, with one Scholar honored at every regular-season home game.
