Cumberland Resident Writes Letter to Santa at Emerald Square Mall

Mariana Gutierrez, age 7, of Cumberland RI , left, got a head start on the holiday season and wrote her letter to Santa with her pal Autumn Vierra of Central Falls, also 7, during Emerald Square Mall’s Santa’s Arrival Celebration on Saturday, November 7th. Over 100 area children and their families wore their favorite pajamas and welcomed Santa as he arrived to Emerald Square Mall on a North Attleboro Fire Truck and read the holiday classic “The Night Before Christmas” while kids enjoyed milk and cookies. After that, Santa and attendees celebrated the mall’s First Annual Santa Set Lighting, followed by festive music from a live DJ, special goody bags, activities, and, of course, writing letters to Santa to start the holidays off right!

Local children can visit with Santa and share their Christmas lists and letters at Emerald Square Mall now through Thursday, December 24th in Sears Court
