Enrolling for Young Adult Career Support Program
Community Care Alliance's Youth Center enrolling for Workforce Investment Opportunity Act career support program for young adults.
The YouthWorks411 Center at Community Care Alliance is seeking young adults ages 16 to 24 for enrollment in the Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) Program providing career and academic support. Young adults receive individualized assistance to meet their career and academic goals and may qualify for an eight to ten week paid internship. Cash incentives for completing program benchmarks are available over the course of a year. This program targets young adults in northern Rhode Island that are recent high school graduates or currently pursuing their GED. To be considered for the program, young adults must also be low-income and receiving SNAP benefits or another type of public assistance.
