Connecting for Children and Families (CCF) in partnership with Stepping Up, a health care career lattice program is offering a free Health Care Career Exploration training program for adults interested in pursuing a career in the health care sector.
The training program will consist of:
- Twelve week training program Monday-Friday 9:00am-2:00pm
- Participants will learn about different careers in healthcare
- Participants successfully completing classroom instruction will engage in 100 hours of internship experience at our partnering healthcare facilities
- Job readiness and placement assistance and career counseling will be provided
- CPR and First Aid certification

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid identification
- High School diploma or GED
- Pass a criminal background check (BCI)
- Must pass written and oral English exams
- Written proof of most recent physical and up-to date immunizations
Class size is limited. Interested people should call to attend one of the information sessions on either Wednesday, March 9th at 6:00pm or Thursday March 10th at 11:00am by calling CCF at 766-3384.
