14 week Culinary Arts Training Program!
- First two weeks of program consist of Job Readiness preparation classes Monday-Friday 9:00am-2:00pm (topics include: communication skills, time management, effective interviewing techniques, resume writing, and more.)
- Immediately following two weeks of Job Readiness, participants then engage in Culinary Arts Classroom instruction Monday through Thursday evenings 5:30pm – 8:30pm at the Woonsocket Area Career and Technical Center (WACTC) 400 . Topics will include Food Preparation Methods, Knife Skills, Baking, Customer Service and more.
- Participate in a weekly Job Club on Fridays 9:00-12:00
- Learn about different entry level jobs in food services and engage in 80 hours of unpaid internships at our partnering businesses in different entry level positions such as dishwashers, prep and line cooks, cashiers, host and hostesses, etc.
- Receive job readiness & placement assistance and career counseling
- ServSafe Certification
