KEEPING WOONSOCKET WARM: A Community Knitting Project

We are planning to knit scarves, hats, gloves & mittens for adults and children and deliver them to Connecting for Children & Families in mid-December.

If you are interested in being a part of this project, there are three ways in which you can help:

1.) Come to one or more meetings and knit in community

2.) Knit within your own community and donate your finished projects to us

3.) Donate yarn and/or size 10 or 10 ½ knitting needles for the cause

We will provide some user-friendly patterns.  You can, of course, use your own patterns as well.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!  Our very own knitting guru, Jen Grover, will be on hand to help!

We hope that you will join us for this fun and worthy project.   Students who participate will receive community service hours.
