Live & Learn: A Social Program for Persons with Early Memory Loss

The Live & Learn program at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library is scheduled to meet today from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

This program, brought to the library by the RI Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, is designed specifically for those who have been diagnosed with early memory loss. The program focuses on maintaining the quality of one's life through learning new ways to compensate for changes in memory including memory enhancement activities, physical exercise, social interaction, camaraderie and just plain fun.

This program also provides time for family members/care partners to pursue their own interests while their loved ones are engaged in enjoyable and meaningful activities with the guidance of a trained facilitator.
