Mortgage Default/Foreclosure Prevention Information Session

If you have recently had a reduction in pay, layoff, illness, death of an income provider, or needed to care for family members and are at risk of foreclosure, NWBRV's HUD-approved counselors can help.

At the sessions, the NWBRV team will help you determine which stage of the foreclosure process you are in, review the loan modification process and documentation necessary to get started, let you know what to expect through the process, and start applications for assistance to programs like Making Homes Affordable and the Hardest Hit Funds of RI. The NWBRV team will also work with you to determine your next steps and best course of action.

Don't wait to ask for help or to learn what assistance is out there.
