Mount Saint Charles Academy Blood Drive

Blood, like milk, expires after a period of time. Platelets, in particular, are needed constantly because they have a shelf life of only five days. With testing, those platelets are only available for three days. It becomes even more critical around holidays, like Easter, when the Rhode Island Blood Center does not collect blood. The Mount Saint Charles Blood Drive after Easter takes on even greater importance. Please help us ensure that those patients who need platelets as well as red blood cells and plasma, will have them when needed.

16 year olds need parental permission even if they have donated before. Permission slips can be found in the office.
