Ocean State Summer Pops Orchestra

Enjoy an evening of patriotic favorites, show tunes, light classical and more with the Ocean State Summer Pops Orchestra! This 60-piece community orchestra is Rhode Island’s only pops orchestra. Bring the whole family for a night you won’t soon forget!

Because this unique group only performs during the summer months, the Orchestra is able to draw on the talents of musicians who may otherwise not be available. The Orchestra is proud to include among its ranks members of the Rhode Island Philharmonic and Philharmonic Community Orchestras, the American Band, the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble, as well as the Brown University, RIC, URI, and Fall River Symphony Orchestras, and other area groups.

The Orchestra is dedicated to education and entertainment through music, and delivers orchestral and educational programming throughout the communities of Greater Rhode Island.
