11 time undefeated Funakoshi Shotokan karate Association (FSKA) world champion Sensei Kyle Funakoshi (7th Degree Black Belt) will be in Woonsocket, RI to conduct an advance Shotokan karate seminar and to test several karate students for advancement. There is one student who is testing for his 5th degree black belt, one testing for his third degree black belt and six testing 2nd degree black belt.
Former City Councilmen Normand J. Laliberte Jr., will be testing for his third degree black belt as well as retire Lt. colonel Robert Mahoney (72 years old!) who was a paratrooper is testing for his second degree black belt.
