Announces General Membership Meeting

 **For any resident or Small business Owner here in the City of Woonsocket come on out and join us tomorrow evening!**

     The WTC announces a general membership meeting, open to the public, to be held onThursday, April 26, 2012, 6:30 PM, at the WOONSOCKET LODGE No.850 - ORDER OF ELKS, 380 Social Street, Woonsocket, R.I. 

     The guest speaker for the evening is Judge Robert G Flanders, Jr., Attorney at Law and partner at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder Law Firm located in Providence, Rhode Island.

Mr. Flanders chairs the firm's municipal restructuring and business litigation practice groups. He is a former Associate Justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court, where he served for eight years before returning to practice law in the Firm's Litigation Group. Mr. Flanders practice focuses on high-stakes, problem-solving engagements involving complex litigation, government investigations, and arbitration matters across a broad range of dispute areas for individuals, businesses, employers, and governmental entities. In February of 2011, Governor Chafee appointed Mr. Flanders to serve as the State Receiver for the financially troubled City of Central Falls, which he is now leading through a Chapter 9 bankruptcy reorganization.

The WTC is a grassroots taxpayer advocacy group based in Woonsocket, RI.
