Friends Remember Palinya With Request To Rapper Bryson Tiller

The Woonsocket teen killed in a crash Monday on I-295 was a Bryson Tiller fan. Her friends are asking him to post her picture.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Lungpalinya Phouvong, 17, of Woonsocket, is being remembered by her friends and family in many ways, both private and public. Lungpalinya, known as Palinya, died Monday after a crash on I-295. She was going to be a senior at Woonsocket High in the fall.

One of her friends, Billy Rivera, is hoping one of her favorite celebrities, rapper Bryson Tiller, will acknowledge her life. He's asking Tiller to post her photo on one of his social media accounts.

"Palinya was a huge fan of the artist Bryson Tiller," he told Patch. "We are trying to get him to notice all the posts we've made tagging him on instagram, twitter, and Facebook in hopes of getting him to post a picture of Palinya on any of his social media platforms. We know how much it would mean to Palinya. If you could share the link to the instagram post it would be appreciated! https://instagram.com/p/BWbz0lEl051/
