House of Brides Says Goodbye to Woonsocket

The House of Brides has dressed New England woman of all ages for over 60 years.

A long-time bridal business is closing its doors and liquidating off every single item of merchandise in the store.

House of Brides has been a part of the Woonsocket community for over 60 years.

Owner Lydia Spencer Smith took over the business at 203 Pond Street from her parents who bought the bridal and formalwear business in 1967.

Smith is saying goodbye to her business after nearly 40 years of dressing New England women of all ages.

Every single item in the store will on sale including items from famous designers like Maggie Sottero, Allure. Mori Lee, Casablanca and Allure.

All items are half-off their regular price.

Famous maker bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride dresses, special occasion dresses, jewelry, shoes, veils, headpieces in addition to all fixtures and equipment will all be on sale.
