Letter to the Editor: Marvin Levinson Remembered

Marvin Levinson's widow grew up in Woonsocket after her family moved here in 1953. They started the Hilltop Store on Pulaski Boulevard.

Dear Patch,

My family and I moved to Woonsocket in 1953, opened Hilltop Farms Store on Pulaski Boulevard soon after. It's still there. My siblings and I graduated from Woonsocket High School. I was in the 1964 class. I have fond
memories all through those formative years. I moved to the Chicago, Illinois area in 1970 when
I married a Chicago men's clothing store owner and have returned to visit at least once a year since
then. The rest of my family are all still there, except my sister, Martha, whom everyone remembers
fondly. She died just before her fiftieth birthday. My brother, Eddie, born in 1950, just retired recently
from many years being employed at the CVS headquarters.

My husband of 47 years, Marvin Levinson, has died. Here is his obituary. I'd like everyone to know that he died, although most of my classmates didn't get to know him well. He died on March 26, two weeks ago.
