Local Woonsocket Student Named BofA Student Leader
Student Leaders® connects community-minded high school juniors and seniors to employment, skills development and service
Bank of America has named Fatou Dieng of Woonsocket as one of five Student Leaders in Rhode Island for the 2016 year. The program offers young people, who are engaged community citizens, an opportunity to build their workforce and leadership skills through a paid summer internship at a local nonprofit organization, as well as participation in a Student Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. Fatou, a junior at Woonsocket Senior High School, is an active member within her high school community, as a board member on both student government and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), organizing and participating in numerous volunteer and fundraising efforts. Fatou will be interning at the Boys and Girls Club.
The four other Rhode Island Student Leaders are:
· Heather McClure a North Smithfield resident and a senior at North Smithfield High School, interning at the Boys and Girls Club.

· Bintu Fofana a Providence resident and a junior at Saint Raphael Academy, interning at the Boys and Girls Club.
· Patience Taiwo Adegboyeg, a Pawtucket resident and a senior at Charles E. Shea Senior High School, interning at the Boys and Girls Club.
