Mayor Admits Violating Ethics Rule
Woonsocket Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt hired her son for an unadvertised summer job.
Mayor Baldelli-Hunt has told the state ethics commission that she did violate ethics laws by hiring her son for an unadvertised summer job.
According to SFGate, she offered to reimburse the city $880 for what her son was paid, in exchange for the commission dismissing charges against her. Papers werefiled by Baldelli-Hunt’s lawyer, obtained by the Hummel Report and broadcast on WPRO-AM.
