New Lights Installed At Woonsocket Veterans Memorial Park
Lights will fully illuminate the park's two basketball courts.
WOONSOCKET, RI — As Woonsocket residents return to the athletic fields and basketball courts of the city amid easing coronavirus restrictions, they will have a little more time in the day to play at Veterans Memorial Park.
LED lights illuminating the two basketball courts at the park were turned on for the first time Tuesday night during a ceremony involving public officials, youth and neighborhood leaders, and public safety officials.
